Clinical Training Program

Restore Counseling Center is committed to providing clinical training opportunities and internships for Masters level students. We believe that future mental health clinicians need preparation and placement in order to be successful in their chosen field. We are dedicated to providing students with the training they need to become effective catalysts for change.

Our internships provide trainees with the opportunity to learn and apply the skills they have learned in their Masters program. We are proud to offer this training to our students and we hope that you will take advantage of this opportunity by applying to our program.

We are looking for trainees who are passionate about healthcare and who are eager to make a difference in the lives of their patients. Our trainees must be caring and energetic, and they must be able to work independently and creatively.

Requirements

Masters level students who are accepted into the program are expected to make a one-year, commitment; some evenings or weekends may be required.

In return, they will receive training that will help them to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in their chosen field.

This internship is a hybrid position with opportunities to work remotely and in our LA office.

Applicant must be enrolled in a Master's program in the field of Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family therapy or related field.

Gain experience in a diverse setting while working with a culturally rich population

Maintain a minimum caseload of 15-20 clients to allow for quality supervision and support

Participate in required supervision meetings to ensure you are meeting the highest clinical standards
